The
Advocate
The oldest gay magazine's web site has much to offer for news,
info, and contact information. Somewhat limited considering the
resources of the magazine itself, the site is useful for learning
and keeping up to date on major issues.
Gay.com
News, classifieds, forums, Q&A's, advice, and a bunch
more. Not the best of the online gay community sources, but still
a lot to offer.
The
Gay Male Body
A tremendous resource to answer just about any questions you might
have as a gay or questioning person. Detailed, vast, and well-done.
Mogenic
Created by Angel to provide support for gay youths, this
site offers advice, shared stories of coming out and life experiences,
contact info for support groups, classifieds, forums, Q&A's,
and a wide variety of useful stuff.
OutMinds
This site is a central index and connection point for a huge
number of gay organizations and gay education sites. While there's
not so much in the way of advice or forums, it is a great launching
point for finding other sources.
PlanetOut
The best source for advice, info, news, contact information
and fun facts online for the gay community, this site has a lot
to offer and is an incredible resource for research on past gay
issues.
The
Mail Crew
An information and support site whose aim is to help young
gays and lesbians to form Gay/Straight Alliances, gay support
groups, and gay e.mail groups. The site contains quite a bit
of information as well as some great stories by various authors.
The Trevor Project
An excellent site that offers help,
hotlines, and hope for gay youth who are considering suicide.
A very positive support network has been built and maintained,
offering nationwide support.
Young
Gay America
Not as expansive as some of the better sites, but pretty well-rounded
with good advice and columns. This site continues to expand and
get better each time I look, and it just gets better and better.
